The Sunrise Resort Campground offers a family like atmosphere, where honest, caring, helpful, people enjoy meeting others. The highlight of your day may be sight seeing, fishing, swimming, boating, playing a game of horseshoes, or just relaxing around the campfire with good conversation. We would like to invite you to a peaceful riverside experience at the Sunrise Resort Campground. Our quaint, well-kept facility offers overnight, weekend, or seasonal camping, along with cozy fully furnished kitchenette cabins, heat, and air conditioning. You supply your own linens and towels.

We are located on a secluded dead end road, with 350 feet of sandy Fox River frontage and access to Lake Puckaway. You will have plenty of good fishing as the Fox River and Lake Puckaway produces several varieties of fish, such as Northern pike, catfish, walleye, bass, and pan fish. Most people have found the river fishing much more satisfying than the lake. At the Sunrise, you are welcome to fish from shore on our private piers, or bring your boat and enjoy the beautiful scenery as you make your way down the Fox River to Lake Puckaway.  Free boat parking on the shoreline is included during your stay with us. Once on the lake, you can enjoy several miles of water and shoreline to explore and fish, and you may want to frequent a few of the local bars or restaurants around the lake. Don't forget your swimsuits, water skies, or tubes for your family enjoyment.

The Sunrise Resort Campground is a small friendly campground that offers it all when it comes to hospitality, beautiful sunrises and full moons over the river. Nature surrounds you and wild life is abundant. Don't be surprised to wake up to turkeys or deer walking across your campsite, or to the sound of cranes, ducks, geese, and pelicans as they fly in. Eagles have been nesting around this area for years, and it's not unusual to frequently see them fly over and feed along the riverfront.  If you are lucky, you might catch a glimpse of otters playing and feeding along the shoreline. For the wild bird enthusiasts, there are several varieties of songbirds that frequent this area and especially the Sunrise Resort Campground bird feeders. Bring along a bag of peanuts and you will be friends forever with all of our black squirrels, as they are our most popular resident.
